The project Colegiado número 171, by the artist Alán Carrasco, is the winner of one of the three residencies for artistic research projects related to the aims and activity of the Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofía, within the framework of the Plan for Recovery, Transformation and Resilience. The piece delves into the history of the triple exile suffered by the Spanish architect Manuel Sánchez Arcas on the other side of the Iron Curtain: Moscow first, Warsaw later and East Berlin, where he finally died in 1970.
