From July 12, 2024, to September 26, 2024.
"Five Hundred Twenty-Five Years Shaping the Future" is the motto of the 41st Universitat d'Estiu de Gandia. This edition includes eighteen informative seminars for the general public, aimed at showcasing the most innovative aspects of academic work to society. Additionally, specialized seminars for postgraduate, doctoral students, and research staff have been incorporated.
Specifically, the 41st UEG includes 6 specialized seminars on medieval history, contemporary Spanish poetry, forest fire management, treatment of anxiety and depression, artificial intelligence, and innovations in journalism.

The cultural program surrounding the 41st edition of the Universitat d'Estiu de Gandia is complemented by two high-level exhibition projects. On July 15 at 6:30 p.m., the exhibition "Art, Pain, and Commitment: Women in the Martínez Guerricabeitia Collection" will open in the exhibition hall of the Casa de la Marquesa. This exhibition aims to highlight the work of the women in this collection. Works by Manuela Ballester, Natividad Bermejo, Carmen Calvo, Victoria Cano, and María Carbonell, among many others, will be on display.
Meanwhile, the Tossal Hall will host the exhibition "Indignadas. No hay planeta B," a project created specifically by artist María María Acha-Kutscher. This exhibition focuses particularly on women: their history, struggles for emancipation and equality, and the cultural construction of femininity. These exhibitions come to Gandia with the support of the Vice-Rectorate for Culture and Society of the UV.
