Cézanne y la Sainte Victoire: catálogo razonado: Pep Vidal

Overview

ADN Galeria presents the fourth exhibition of the artist and scientist Pep Vidal (Barcelona, 1980) at its main location. The exhibition Cézanne y la Sainte-Victoire: catálogo razonado brings together recent projects centered on artistic and scientific methodologies for approaching and understanding nature. One of the works included in the exhibition features direct collaboration with the Institute of Marine Sciences (ICM-CSIC).

The opening will take place on Saturday, June 8, starting at 12:00 p.m., and will be attended by the artist. It will coincide with the opening of Antonio Ortega’s solo exhibition Registres de comportament (1994-1998) and the reopening of Alán Carrasco’s solo show Les faits sont têtus at the same time and date.

Pep Vidal's work proposes a reflection on what is controllable and what is wild, randomness, and rules. From an ecological and scientific perspective, the artist seeks through his works a formula to understand the reality of nature.

In his fourth exhibition at ADN Galeria, titled Cézanne y la Sainte-Victoire: catálogo razonado, the works Efecte d'Altitud (2023-2024) and Deep Sea Water Mass (2024) are presented.
