It’s
time to go back to street is a
drawing series sourced from Senatore’s arche of protest forms. They are meticulous
studio reproductions with pencil and charcoal on paper of public gatherings
with students, worker unions, gymnasts, nurses, and brass bands, where their
collective bodies seem to perform a universal language inspired by togetherness
and dignity. Despite hints at times and spaces covering over fifty years and
many remote regions, the differences in the drawings dissolve in the almost
synchronized actions of the characters.
