“La balada de Wendy entre d’autres, cielo preview, visual mode” is the translation of the first chapter of the non-fiction novel “Cielo” by David G. Torres to another sort of narration: visual and expositive. Several characters parade throughout the project such as the singer Wendy Williams, the performer Tomislav Gotovac and his friends Alexandar and Ivana, the Italian Parliament representative Cicciolina, Lacan and his ties, Tarantino´s armed women, Valie Export, Marina Abramovic, Lady Gaga…
A kaleidoscopic tale full of intersections that, as an exhibition, has adopted the conventional filmic production as reference: Eduard Arbós has dealt with the story-board and a casting on a mural that reflects the relationships between characters and situations; Joan Morey has developed diverse scenes that end up by shaping a trailer of the text itself; Maria Pratts has taken care of the promotional poster; ADN Platform is the producer; and David G. Torres, as the author of the original text, assumes the role of director and script writer.
